<div><p>Some elementary students had the opportunity to participate in the “Hour of Code” this week, which is a global movement aimed at introducing students as young as kindergarten the basics of computer science. Code.org has activities that our students were able to play, which guided the students through basic computer coding programs. Working on these self-guided activities not only teaches the concept, but helps nurture problem-solving skills, determination, logic and creativity. By starting early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21<sup>st</sup>-century career path!
