This course is an INDEPENTENT STUDY PROGRAM designed for the serious art student interested in developing A QUALITY ART PORTFOLIO FOR COLLEGE. It is IMPERATIVE that students taking this class be responsible, self-motivated, conscientious individuals. The students MUST MAINTAIN an advanced level of aesthetic quality and artistic skill in their work throughout the course, developing an art portfolio that reflects serious indepth experimentation and exploration into the mediums utilized to insure quality pieces of art comparable to the works below.
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE 8 QUALITY PIECES:
3 drawings (any choice of dry media/subject/dimensions)
A self-portrait
A figure painting
3 pieces (student choice of media, subjects)
