The objective of this course is to enable the student to use computer applications in an efficient and productive manner. The course is designed to help students gain an understanding of the computer and its limitless possibilities. Applications covered in detail in this course are Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. In addition, web site creation is accomplished using hypertext markup language. Students should leave this course with practical computer skills that can be used across the curriculum and in every day life.
