There are many ways for your student to access Google Classroom.  Below you will find directions on how to access Google Classroom on a laptop, iPhone / iPad, Android phone, Chromebook and even gaming devices; Xbox and PlayStation!

Laptop

Click here and follow the directions.

iPhone / iPad

To use Classroom on your iPhone or iPad, download the Classroom app from the App Store.

  1. On your device, tap App Store
  2.  Find and install the Google Classroom app
Once the app has been downloaded to a phone or tablet, students login with their school district accounts and will find an interface that feels very similar to the one they would see on a laptop or Chromebook.

Android device

To use Classroom on your Android device, download the Classroom app from Google Play.

  1.  On your device, tap Google Play Store.
  2.  Find and install the Google Classroom app
Once the app has been downloaded to a phone or tablet, students login with their school district accounts and will find an interface that feels very similar to the one they would see on a laptop or Chromebook.

Classroom can be opened on Xbox and PlayStation. There isn’t an app that the students can add to their consoles. Instead, they are going to have to use the built-in browsers that come on the two devices.  If students have a keyboard they can plug it in, they will have a much easier time with navigation. Otherwise, they will have to use their controllers.

Here are the steps for Xbox:

  1. Home menu
  2. My games and apps
  3. Scroll down to apps
  4. Go to the Edge application
  5. Go to classroom.google.com and sign in

Here are the steps for the PlayStation:

  1. Use controller to scroll to far right of bar with games on it to library
  2. Select Library application
  3. Under search option, scroll down to Applications
  4. Select Internet Browser (www) in list of applications
  5. Start Internet Browser and press triangle button on controller to search
